이 숲은 지구상의 다른 어떤 곳에서도 볼 수 없는 식물과 동물들의 서식지입니다. 신발과 장비에 묻은 침입종을 제거하여 이들을 보호하는 데 동참해주세요.

**라피드 오히아 데스(ROD)**는 침입성 곰팡이로, 하와이 섬의 수십만 그루의 토종 오히아 나무를 죽였습니다. 감염된 나무에는 알려진 치료법이 없습니다.

고스(Gorse)(왼쪽 위 및 왼쪽)와 코스터스 커스(Koster's curse)(오른쪽 위 및 오른쪽)는 토종 숲을 파괴하는 침입성 잡초입니다. 이들의 아주 작은 씨앗은 부츠나 장비에 묻어 이동하며, 일단 퍼지면 제거하기 매우 어렵습니다.

Rapid ‘Ōhi‘a Death (ROD) is an invasive fungus, and has killed hundreds of thousands of native ‘Ōhi‘a trees on Hawai‘i Island. There are no known cures for infected living trees.

Gorse (above left and left) and Koster’s curse (above right and right) are invasive weeds that destroy native forests. Their tiny seeds hitchhike on boots and gear. Once established, they take over and are very difficult to remove.
