Fuchsia

In the late 17th century, the public garden of a monastery in the Dominican Republic housed this plant. Brought to Europe, it later became widely cultivated. There are over 100 species today. Some are native shrubs, others hybrids created by people.

17세기 후반, 도미니카 공화국의 한 수도원 공공 정원에서 이 식물이 재배되었습니다. 이후 유럽으로 전해져 널리 재배되기 시작했습니다. 현재 100종 이상의 후크시아가 있으며, 일부는 자생 관목이고, 일부는 사람들이 만들어낸 교배종입니다.
